AuctionCapture offers quite a few ways to help you win auctions, such as an improved auction search experience and reporting on some sales trends based on historical data. We strive to push the envelope to bring you even more personalized features,
auction suggestions.
Once you sign up for a free account and log in, we analyze all your activity on AuctionCapture to determine what kinds of items interests you. We look at every search you make
and every auction you view or watch to understand you. Just doing that would be pretty cool (since no other auction tool does it this way), but we go further and also analyze the actions of other members with similar interests.
So we take all this great information and plug it into our proprietary Auction Ananlytics
Engine (AAE). We have tested many different ways to slice and dice the data, gotten
loads of user feedback, and have come up with views that will help find you items you
want. The AAE provides different views that we think you will find
useful:
- Most Popular Keywords - Shows
the most popular search terms broken down by category and shown in tag clouds. The
bigger the word, the more popular it is.
- Most Popular Items - Shows
the most most viewed active auctions by the Auction Capture community. Since most
auctions only last a relatively short time and our members are always finding new
stuff, this list is constantly changing and growing.
- Items Like Previous Searches - We look at your previous searches, look for
trends and patterns, and then present you with items we think you will like.
- Items From Previous Sellers - We look at what you viewed, bid on, and won. We then then
analuze the trends and patterns to present you with items we think you will like.
- Items From Similar Buyers -
We know what you like. We know what others like. We look similarities and
bring you items that buyers similar have shown interest in.
